Concentrations of total organic carbon (TOC) were determined in seawater and surface sediments during the spring and summer from 12 sites in the Dongshan Bay. The results indicated that the distributions of TOC in seawater in spring and summer decreased from inner bay to out-bay. The TOC content in seawater was higher in spring than in summer. Concentrations of TOC were lower in sediments from the mouth of the bay relative to inner the bay. Concentrations of TOC in seawater showed significant positive correlation with chlorophyll a and COD, and negative correlation with salinity. Significantly positive correlation was also found between TOC with clay and heavy metals (Hg, Cu, Zn, and Cr) contents.

According to the survey data in Luoyuan bay On 2010~2012 , the content of DO changes little, distribution showed increasing trend from north to South. Using Pearson correlation coefficient to measure the correlation between the data. The results show that surface water temperature in winter was negatively related to DO; when pH is low, DO along with pH to rise, when the pH reaches a certain concentration, DO along with pH decreases. There was inverse correlation between DO and nitrogen,DO and phosphorus in the Luoyuan bay ,but a positive correlation was found between DO and nitrogen,DO and phosphorus in bay mouth to Gangyu.

Research of nitrification in coastal water of Meizhou Bay[15N]ammonium oxidation method

These studies were conducted to estimate nitrification in coastal water of Meizhou Bay by [15N] ammonium oxidation method. The nitrification rate of 0.51μmol?L-1?d-1~4.60 μmol?L-1?d-1 were recorded, and the higher nitrification rate in water close to aquaculture area were propitious to ammonium self-purification. Higher nitrification rate was observed at high NO3- concentration water column, which showed NO3- produced mostly from nitrification. The biological turnover times for NH4+ were short (1d~9 d) in coastal water of Meizhou Bay with the longer turnover times in surface seawater. Nitrification transformed NH4+ to NO2-, final to NO3-, reducing the harm to organisms of coastal aquaculture system resulted from NH3-N and NH4-N.

Crustacean samples taken month by month in 2012 with set net in the coastal waters of Zhangpu were analyzed. The results showed that there were 25 species of crustacean in this area, which belong to 2 orders,8 families and 15 genera, including 2 squillas,16 shrimps and 7 crabs. Species in Penaeidae family were the most abundant(5 genera 9 species)in the total numbers of crustacean species. The crustacean accounted for 30.1% in the weight of set net catches, for 84.0% in the quantity. Shrimps accounted for the first one in crustaceans in terms of weight and quantity.Shrimps yield accounted for above 76.7% in crustaceans from March to July.Crabs yield accounted for 64.7%~88.0% in crustaceans from August to November. The high yield mouth for squillas are December to February in next year. Both of Shannon-wiener diversity index and Pielou evenness index were highest, but lowest in April. The annual diversity index was at a lower overall level.

By studying cleaning effect of ?O2- and ?OH to asssess vitro antioxidation and analysing deproteinization rate and polysaccharides loss rate to compare trichloroacetic acid (TCA) method with Sevag method of polysaccharides extracted by water extraction from grateloupia filicin.Using glucan gel G-150 chromatography column to purify polysaccharides and determine the distribution of molecular weight, furthermore analyzing some of its physical and chemical properties. The results indicate that polysaccharides from grateloupia filicin has antioxidant activity, IC50 on scavenging ?OH is 4.62 mg/mL,IC50 on scavenging ?O2- is 0.62 mg/mL.On effect of deproteinization , Sevag method is superior to TCA method, deproteinization rate is 85.55% and polysaccharides loss rate is 15.93%. Polysaccharides from grateloupia filicin is a kind of compounds with major constituent polysaccharides and glycoprotein, and the distribution of molecular weight is between 3.5×105 aand 1.2×105.

Abstract:The study on new breeding model of ecological optimization and disease control and prevention in Epinephlus coioides has been reported in this article. The research mainly focuses on prevention of nervous necrosis virus (NNV) and so on. These researches include: Firstly, block the spread pathways of the virus, such as choosing fertilized eggs carrying no virus, furthermore disinfecting strictly and completely nursery ponds, tools, biological feed and also fertilized eggs before the eggs entering nursery ponds. Secondly, the microecological environment of seedling pools should remain relatively steady. Make probiotics become dominant species in the water to consume harmful substances like ammonia nitrogen and so on, also to control the reproduction of malignant bacteria. Thirdly, it is important to maintain nutrition of the fish fry to improve its physical and health level, to enhance its ability of resisting virus disease, and thus to increase the survival rate of larvae, that more mature and standardized type and proportion of fish bait for the larvae, fry or juvenile have been putted into effect.

In order to intensify the protection and sustainable use of Sanguinolaria diphos (Linnaeus) resources, our station utilized wild S. diphos resources in the Nanri Island, Putian to carry out scale breeding technology research. The technical research results of S. diphos large-scale breeding in the Pinghai Ostrea cucullata (Born) Breeding Farm, Putian in 2012 was presented in this paper, and the process of large-scale breeding was also described. We explored the breeding habits, the process of embryonic development and environmental requirments of S. diphos, and broke through the key technical points such as the requirements of the attached bottom quality, food demand and water quality. We finally formed a S. diphos breeding technology and process.

To reduce the negative effect of algae on conventional water treatment,The nanocatalytic-electroflotation process is used to treat the lake water. The results indicate that, Nanocatalytic-electroflotation process is a technique widely kill algae, Cyanobacteria were the dominant algae in the lake water by treatmenting with Nanocatalytic-electroflotation process, the average removal rate of algae concentration as high as 99.1%. The effects of current density, residence time and electrode gap on algae removal efficiency are investigated by means of orthogonal test. The results show that the sequences of influential factors which affect the algae removal efficiency are as follows:current density> residence time>electrode gap. Comprehensive economic consideration, the optimum process conditions are: current density is 5 mA/cm2, the residence time of 6 minutes, electrode gap is 10mm.

In recent years, as a lot of areas of Tideland Reclamation were expropriated in Songshan of Luoyuan Bay, the Luoyuan County’s Penaeus vannamei aquaculture had to develop outside Luoyuan County and Fujian Province, and gradually get into Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Guangdong Province and Guangxi Province except Fujian Province related district. According to statistics, during 2012 outside the Luoyuan County and Fujian Province the farming area of the prawn was 7667 hm2, the yield was 46575 t and the output value was up to 1.1 billion yuan, becoming a new hot spot and forming a new model of Aquaculture Economy to Outside. In the meanwhile, this kind of development could promote the labor force shift and improve the farmer’s income. Based on deeply research, there are some suggestions proposed as references on our development outside the Fujian Province in the filed of aquaculture of P. vannamei.
