Abstract: Based on the surveys data of fish eggs, larvae and juveniles in Dongshan Bay of Fujian in Spring(May, 2008) and Summer(August, 2008) and historical related data, the composition and abundance of temporal-spatial distribution of fish eggs, larvae and juveniles in Dongshan Bay were studied. The results showed that: there were 24 species of fish eggs, larvae and juveniles in survey stations, of which 16 were identified to species, 4 to genus, 4 to family and 2 unidentified. The fish is active in reproductive during spring and summer, while there are plenty eggs and larvae in the bay. The number of fish eggs, larvae and juveniles were mainly consist of migratory economic species, such as Etrumeus teres, Sardinella aurita, Sardinella zunasi, Sillago japonica and Argyrosomus argentatus. Intensive areas of fish eggs in spring is in coastal water of west of Dashuang Island and coastal water of nearest of Ciziwei Nuclear Power Plant, while in Tayu near the bay estuary in summer. In compare with other gulfs in Fujian, Dongshan Bay is an important spawning ground for migratory economic fish on account of its long spawning period. So, its economic value is more important than Quanzhou Bay and Sansha Bay.

Abstract:The paper analyzes the status quo of this sea area through the ocean environment monitor materials of Xiamen west and east sea area during July the inter-tide period in 2008 and conducts comprehensive evaluation and analysis on the ocean environment by the way of BP artificial neurology network. The result shows that the overall condition of sea water quality around east-west sea area, Tongan Bay, south-west sea area, except that inorganic nitrogen and phosphate (exceptions) are over proof. The other monitor index meets the corresponding standards. The comprehensive evaluation analysis shows that the overall environment difference of water quality on both sides of Xiamen Gaoji seawall is obvious. The water quality of west sea area is stable. The difference between big and small tide of Tongan Bay is huge. After the bank is broken, the tendency towards stable west sea area environment is bound to be destroyed. It is suggested that there should be strengthened measure on the monitor of pollutant discharge around Tongan Bay and sensitive creature protection at the beginning of the seawall break-up.

Abstract:The controlling of water quality is a key factor for aquatic production. In recent years, chemical and physical water-treatment methods have been used in aquatic species and aquaculture production, which has a certain effect in improving the growing environment of the aquaculture. But there are still kinds of shortages existed. In this paper, seawater sterilization was studied by the little electrolysis technique of the nanocatalyst, which expect to ascertain the minimum value of completely sterilization. And tolerance range of free chlorine in the aquaculture water was studied by different level of treatment intensity of this technology. The result showed that when the treatment intensity was 1.06 W·h/t, the sterilizing rate could be 100%. And the cost was 0.00053yuan per one ton seawater. The highest tolerance intensity for the grouper fry was 4.08 W·h/t. And under this intensity, It could reach the best effect of sterilization and continuous bacteriostatic. And this intensity could be used in practical production of offspring seed. Using the little electrolysis technique of the nanocatalyst to produce the free chlorine, which can disinfect pathogenic organisms and further to purify water, and expect to suppress the occurrence of pathogenic diseases in the end. Finally, the promotion of the little electrolysis technique of the nanocatalyst could have a certain value and environmental effect in aquaculture.

Portuguese oyster larvae were exposed to solutions of KCl、CaCl2、MgCl2、NH4Cl at various concentrations. The result is showed below. At the beginning of the test, K+ and NH4+ induced larvae settlement behavior. After a week, except Mg2+ and NH4+, under the concentration of 10mM,20mM, K+ and 10mM-25mM, Ca2+ both induced larvae settlement and metamorphosis; NH4+ caused high mortality. This indicated that in commercial breeding of Portuguese oyster, KCl、CaCl2 may be the potential chemical cues.

Abstract: Arachidonic acid,Eicosapentaenoic acid and Docosahexaenoic acid are the essential polyunsaturated fatcyacigs of human and other animal. This paper reviews the influence of environmental impact factor (temperature, light radiation, chemical composition of culture solution, ventilation volume, methods of storage and culture, and so on) on the content of PUFAs in the marine microalgae, to provide a theoretical reference for the follow-up researcher. Producing the PUFA by the ocean microalgae has great advantage compared to extracting the PUFA directly from the fish. The core problem of microalgae industry is developping the efficient and cheap photo-bioreactor.
