Abstract: Abstract: Reported two batch culture results of Babylonia areolata in outdoor concrete tanks on August 10, 2009 and July 10, 2010 .The results show that early July before and after is the best time to put the Babylonia areolata seed which shell height is 0.6~1.0cm in Southern Fuiian coast. Throughout the culture process , the average temperature was 26.1 ℃, the average daily growth of shell height was 0.16mm and the average daily growth of weight was 0.037 g. The specific shell height growth rate and the specific weight growth rate were 0.97% and 2.74% respectively. The Babylonia cultivation cycle is only 144 days.
