Abstract:
The acute toxicity of six common drugs, including potassium permanganate,povidone-iodine,formaldehyde,glutaraldehyde,trichlorfon and cupric acetate,to
Fugu bimaculatus were studied at water temperature of(27±1)℃,salinity of 25±1,pH of 7.90~8.10 and dissolved oxygen level of above 6.0 mg/L using static bioassay test. The results showed that the median lethal concentration(
LC50)of potassium permanganate to
F.bimaculatus for 24,48,72 and 96 h were 1.88,1.84,1.76 and 1.75 mg/L,respectively;the 24,48,72 and 96 h
LC50 of povidone-iodine were 23.30,22.55,20.34 and 19.50 mg/L;the 24,48,72 and 96 h
LC50 of formaldehyde were 11.27,7.06,6.38 and 5.57 mg/L;the 24,48,72 and 96 h
LC50 of glutaraldehyde were 9.25,9.03,7.03 and 5.48 mg/L;the 24,48,72 and 96 h
LC50 of trichlorfon were 16.85,14.19,10.23 and 7.92 mg/L;the 24,48,72 and 96 h
LC50 of cupric acetate were 10.54,8.78,6.13 and 5.46 mg/L.The safe concentration was found to be 0.53 mg/L in potassium permanganate,6.34 mg/L in povidone-iodine,0.83 mg/L in formaldehyde,2.58 mg/L in glutaraldehyde,3.02 mg/L in trichlorfon and 1.83 mg/L in cupric acetate.Order of sensitivities of six drugs to
F.bimaculatus was:povidone-iodine>trichlorfon>glutaraldehyde>cupric acetate>formaldehyde>potassium permanganate. The using of six drugs should be controlled strictly in fugu aquaculture production according to safe concentration.
