Abstract: Many aquatic organisms in different domestic waters have been polluted into various degrees by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons ( PAHs ) ，the pollution of some waters have even been far beyond then national standard limit. This paper introduced the pollution levels of PAHs in the aquatic products from domestic Yangtze River as well as sea areas that close to the land such as Bohai Bay，Taizhou Bay，Xiamen Bay，Shenzhen Dapeng Bay and foreign countries such as French，Italy，Spain， Brazil and South Korea. The pollution levels and characteristics of PAHs were analyzed and compared，the research and application progress of human exposure and health risk assessment model for PAHs were reviewed. Besides，this paper also pointed out the problems for the research o f PAHs in aquatic products and made recommendations.
