Abstract: Aquatic collagen has many advantages for the medical usage, such as the excellent biocompatibility, absorbability, cell growth promotion, and hemostasis, making it an excellent preparation raw material for medical dressings. This paper introduced several classes of medical dressings using aquatic collagen as raw materials and their healing promoting effects, discussed about the future research direction of aquatic collagen in the field of medical dressing, and provided a reference basis for subsequent in-depth research efforts.
