Abstract:
We used the Space-induced
Chlorella vulgaris T0 for the research of environmental factors and medium component on growth in this paper. Both the growth rate and oil production were considered,we obtained the strain TY31 of
Chlorella vulgaris which grew faster and produced more oil after two screening. The results of our experiment showed that on the best condition of 140 μmol·m
-2·s
-1 light intensity,23℃ temperature,3.75 mmol/L NH
2CONH
2 and 0.12 mmol/L K
2HPO
4,the cell density, the period of growth, the protein content, lipid content and fatty acid content were all increased. In our study we improved BG-11 medium for a further screening with the selected strain T9 of
Chlorella vulgaris. The strain TY31 which grew faster and produced more oil was selected in the secondary screening. Compared to the strain T9 of
Chlorella vulgaris, the final cell density of strain TY31 was increased by 11.06×10
6 mL
-1,the lipid content and fatty acid content of strain TY31 were increased by 6.50% and 3.76% respectively. Our research indicated that the strain TY31 of
Chlorella vulgaris had a good potential application in bio-energy and could be the basis of development and utilization of marine microalgae.
