Abstract: In recent years, as a lot of areas of tideland reclamation were expropriated in Songshan of Luoyuan Bay, the Luoyuan County's Penaeus vannamei aquaculture had to develop outside Luoyuan County and Fujian Province, and gradually got into Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Guangxi Province except Fujian Province related districts. According to statistics, during 2012, the farming area of the prawn outside the Luoyuan County and Fujian Province was 7 667 hm², the yield was 46 575 t and the output value was up to 1.1 billion yuan, becoming a new highlight and forming a new model of aquaculture economy to outside. In the meanwhile, this kind of development model could promote the labor force shift and improve the farmer's income. Based on our investigation, there were some suggestions proposed as references on our development of aquaculture of P.vannamei outside Fujian Province.
