Abstract:
In this paper, we used one-factor experimental method to research the optimum diets for
Babylonia lutosa juveniles. We used
Crassostrea gigas, Portunus pelagicus, Trachurus japonicas; Penaeus vannamei and the larva of
Artemia salina as different diets for six experimental groups in a way of feeding in turn each day. In our experiment the water temperature was 28~28.5℃. After 30 days of feeding experiment, the results of the body-length, weight, and growth of each day, growth rate of each day and survival rate showed that the feeding effect of
Crassostrea gigas was the best and
Portunus pelagicus was the second. In survival rate, the group fed with
Trachurus japonicas was higher than that of
Penaeus vannamei group. The group fed with larva of
Artemia salina was the lowest survival rate while other parameter index were comparatively close. The comprehensive parameter index of
Babylonia lutosa juveniles fed with 5 different diets mixed together was the second in all experimental groups. The results of One Way Analysis of Variance indicated that different diets had significant influence on the growth speed of
Babylonia lutosa (
P<0.01).
