Abstract:
Based on the nutritional requirement of larva and juvenile of
Epinephelus coioides, with selecting raw material and screening various formulations, micropaticle diets for Larva and Juvenile of
Epinephelus coioides were developed. The adhesive ingredient was studied through the research of its lost ratios and settling velocity. The results showed that the optimum ingredient was combination of 1.5% algin and 3.5% collagen. Fatty acid and amino acid compositions of microparticle diets were analyzed. The results indicated that the composition of n3 high unsaturated fatty acid was 19.4%, close to Chlorella wheel worm (20%~28%) and the ten kinds of essential amino acid compositions were reasonable. The safety level of microparticle diets met the standard requirement of NY5072-2002. From 20th to 45th day, the survival rate of
Epinephelus malabaricus which fed with microparticle diets was 3.3%, better than control group.
