Abstract:
In order to develop the artificial propagation techniques of
Centropristis Striata, the broodstocks rearing, artificial breeding, embryonic development and fry cultivating of
Centropristis Striata were studied in this paper. The results showed that the broodstock survival rate was 82.6%, the productions were 7 batches of eggs and 15 million eggs which the diameter of fertilized eggs was 0.90~1.20 mm (mean 0.98 mm) and fertilization rate of oil globule was 76.50% which the diameter was 0.13~0.19 mm. After hatching, there were 8.6 million larval which the hatched rate was 74.94%. Based on the external morphological features, six periods including 21 stages of
Centropristis Striata embryo were established, such as cleavage period, blastula period, gastrula period, neural period, organogenesis period and hatching period. The time for embryonic development of
Centropristis Striata was 26~40 h in the sea water with temperature 18~26℃, salinity 28~31.0 and pH 7.8~8.2. The weight length of juvenile was 4.5cm in indoor concrete ponds by 2 months of intensive training, and the germination rate was 9.31%.
