Abstract: This paper has made a summary of the development of the eel industry of Fujian Province in the past 40 years,including the development of the cultivation of eel,the fry trade,the feed processing,the baking and processing of eel,the export trade,and so on.The characteristics of the times,the historical position and the role,the main problems,and the conditions of the continuous development of the eel industry of Fujian,as well as the deep enlightenment to the development of the eel industry and the fishery are analyzed,with a view to the eel industry's reference.
