Abstract:
Anesthetic effects of eugenol to juvenile brocarded carp weighing (40.50±1.04) g was evaluated at (19.5±0.5)℃.The results showed that the anesthetic behavior was a gradient process from mild, moderate to deep degree anesthesia. With the concentration of eugenol increasing, the anesthetic time of juvenile brocarded carp reduced and the recovery time increased gradually. It was suggested that the concentration of eugenol was 30~40 mg/L in the anaesthetizing practice on juvenile brocarded carp.
