Abstract: Based on the data from the cruises that carried out in Yueqing Bay during February in 2014, the distributions and relationships with some major environmental factors of particulate organic carbon (POC) were discussed. The results showed that the concentrations of POC in the surface water layers ranged from 0.1596 mg/L to 3.4117 mg/L with an average of（0.9540±0.7012）mg/L and the concentrations of POC in the bottom water layers ranged from 0.7593 mg/L to 6.2107 mg/L, with an average of（2.1556±1.4668）mg/L. Correlation analysis indicated that consistency of POC showed extremely significant positive correlation with chemical oxygen demand and extremely significant negative correlation with nitrate nitrogen and significant negative correlation with nitrite nitrogen.
