Abstract: Based on the data of fishery resources enhancement in Haiyang City of Shandong Province, this paper had a general situation for the fishery resources enhancement work over the recent twenty years. After years of development of the fishery resources enhancement, the species of releasing from one to eight and the number of releasing from 30 million units to 725 million units. The species included Penaeus chinensis, Penaeus japonicus, Portunus trituberculatus, Rhopilema esculentum, Acanthopagrus schlegelii, Sebastes schlegelii, Paralichthys olivaceus, Sepia esculenta, Sepiella maindroni. The population resources had got the recovering of certain level after enhancement. The average annual output value had reached 39.96 million yuan, 20.28 million yuan, 41.74 million yuan of Rhopilema esculentum, Penaeus chinensis, Portunus trituberculatus. The fishery resources enhancement also stimulated the development of five nursery enterprises and sixty Fishery Enterprises. These companies had created lots of jobs that stimulated more than 40 000 people to work. The fishery resources enhancement had a good results and produce significant the ecological, economic and social benefits. In the end, the paper put forword some suggestions to improve the fishery resources enhancement which to provide references and bases for the effective implementation and scientific management in the future.
