Abstract: In order to explore the feasibility of the culture model of raising hybrid （Pelteobagrusvachelli♀×Pelteobagrusfulvidraco♂) twice a year in pond in north Zhejiang，hybrid Pelteobagrus fry cultured in pond once a year and juvenile cultured in pond twice a year were contrasted. The results showed that hybrid Pelteobagrus juveniled cultured in pond twice a year harvested larger commercial fish with higher survival rate and price. Also，hybrid Pelteobagrus juvenile cultured in pond twice a year could shorten culturing period and quicken the return of funds，obtaining higher unit benefit and economic benefit. Hybrid Pelteobagrus juvenile cultured in pond twice a year was more valuable to be promoted in north Zhejiang Province.
